Founder, Celestial Church of Christ

The Celestial Church of Christ is a Christian church founded through divine revelation by the late Reverend, Pastor, Prophet, Founder, and Sole Spiritual Head, Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa.

The church was established in 1947 in Porto-Novo, Benin Republic, following a divine calling received by the founder. Since then, the Celestial Church of Christ has grown into a worldwide Christian movement with parishes across Africa, Europe, North America, and other parts of the world.

The Celestial Church of Christ is built upon the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and emphasizes holiness, prayer, worship, evangelism, spiritual guidance, and complete dependence on God.

About Throne of Mercy Parish (ÌTẸ́ ÀNÚ)

Throne of Mercy Parish (ÌTẸ́ ÀNÚ) is a parish of the Celestial Church of Christ located in Georgetown, Ontario. Our parish is dedicated to worship, prayer, deliverance, spiritual growth, and the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The name ÌTẸ́ ÀNÚ means Throne of Mercy. It represents a place where God’s mercy, grace, healing, restoration, and spiritual renewal are experienced through Christ.

We are committed to creating an atmosphere where individuals and families can encounter God, grow in faith, receive spiritual guidance, and experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to lead souls to Christ through prayer, worship, evangelism, deliverance, sound spiritual guidance, and Christian fellowship.

Under the leadership of V/S/Evangelist Peter Adetunji, Throne of Mercy Parish continues to provide spiritual guidance, pastoral care, prayer, and biblical teaching rooted in the doctrines of the Celestial Church of Christ.

His desire is to see lives transformed through prayer, faith, obedience to God’s Word, and the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
